We would like to thank everyone who submitted an application to the Studenica Foundation Competition, especially the participants of the second and third rounds of selection and the time you took to fill out applications, interviews and project proposals. Some of the projects you suggested are truly exceptional and that made our choice even easier. We were also impressed by your awards and the results you achieve and how involved you are in helping your community.
The possibilities are limited and incomparably less in relation to the needs and quality of applications. Many of you deserved to become holders of the Studenica Foundation scholarship, but we had to choose only 38 from over 500 received applications. This year, we tried to get as many scholarships as possible for students from Kosovo and Metohija. We also tried to ensure that students from different faculties from all over Serbia were equally represented.
If you are not selected this year, please do not give up and try the next one. This is especially true for freshmen and those who have had interviews but are still not on the list of winners this year.
The Studenica Foundation, as an organization of the Serbian diaspora, has the honor of awarding scholarships this year in partnership with Serbian Philanthropic Association (SPA) from New York. See more about it HERE.
