On Thursday, June 11, 2026, in the University Library "Svetozar Marković" in Belgrade, the traditional Gathering of alumni of the Studenica Foundation was held. At the meeting, current scholarship holders and former scholarship winners of the Foundation met - evidence of decades of dedicated investment in young talents and building a community whose foundations are knowledge, solidarity and mutual support. The formal part of the event was marked by welcoming speeches by Vuka Jeremić, the Foundation's manager, alumni Nenad Krzman, a speech by a friend of the Foundation Ivan Petrović, as well as an alumni and student panel.
In his presentation, Ivan recalled the rich tradition of endowment in our nation, drawing a parallel between historical benefactors and modern foundations that continue that noble mission, as is the case with the Studenica Foundation.
The moderator of the alumni panel was alumni Kristina Nikolić, and the speakers were alumni Bojana Petrović Raičević and Nikolija Bojković. "Alumni stories that teach us" was the overarching theme of this panel, and Kristina discussed with the interlocutors about success, development and changes - from student days to the industry. Bojana and Nikolija shared their experiences from studying abroad, and emphasized the importance of applying the acquired knowledge in their home country. As part of the alumni panel, our alumna Ana Anđelić also spoke from New York. Anna is on Forbes' list of the most influential marketing directors in the world.
As part of the student panel discussion, our alumna Jelena Čolović talked to the scholarship recipients about the daily life of studying, connections between Studenica Foundation scholarship holders, as well as how technological development and artificial intelligence affect their education today. Student participants in the panel were Anđela Prodanović, David Srećković and Njegoš Vidović.
After the formal part of the event, the main part of the evening continued. The participants spent a good time socializing, talking and exchanging experiences. The most important part of such events is strengthening our alumni community and networking generations of former scholars who are successful in all fields!
