This year, the Studenica Foundation awarded scholarships to the most successful students in Serbia. The ceremonial signing of the contract was held on Saturday, December 23, in the large hall of the Immigration Registry in Belgrade. The best students from Belgrade, Niš, Kraljevo, Arandjelovac, Pancevo and other cities throughout Serbia came to the contract signing ceremony. For these students, the Foundation allocated about 4 million dinars. Thirty-five students from universities in Serbia received the scholarship. The ceremony was magnified by the members of the alumni singing group of the Studenica Foundation, who sang the national anthem of Serbia at the beginning, and during the ceremonial part they sang several old Serbian folk songs.
The students were addressed by the Vice President of the Endowment, Dr. Slavka Drašković, who introduced the scholarship holders to the Endowment's goals and scholarship goals. As a returnee from Canada, Dušan Kovačević told the students why he returned to the country, why they should stay and how they can help Serbia with their involvement.
The members of the Studenica Foundation's alumni club presidency, Lav Dimović, Anastasija Kostić and Predrag Milošev, addressed the students and told about their experience as old scholarship holders of the foundation. They introduced the students to the work of the alumni club.
During the contract signing ceremony, the students introduced themselves to each other and expressed their satisfaction that they had the honor of being scholarship holders of the Studenica Endowment.
