Ilija is a student of the Faculty of Political Sciences, like me, but until now I have not had the opportunity to meet him. The scholarship of the "Studenica" Foundation made us hear about each other.
The conversation with Ilija lasted a short time, but on that occasion he told me the most important information about two of his recent great successes.
In December, the municipality of Voždovac awarded him with a laptop for his achievements at the university. He says that it was uncertain when the award ceremony would take place, but he is glad that it was live because he met and talked with the president of the municipality, who was very kind.
This award is given by the municipality of Voždovac for the first time, and Ilija is proud that he had the opportunity to receive this recognition and thinks that this kind of practice is highly commendable.
Another topic we discussed was the NATONIA World Game Championship. Since I was not familiar with how this video game works before, Ilija explained to me that it is a game that tests knowledge of NATO facts. In the previous championship, he won the fourth place, and this year he won the third place.
„"It is important to answer the questions correctly, but time is also important. The table was open for a month, and during that period the competitors could play every day, and at the end the best result counts. I was in first place for a long time. In the last week, I fell to second, then to third. A few hours before the end, I was on top again, but I fell to second again and a few minutes before the end of the game to third place," says Ilija.
His record time is 1 minute and 16 seconds which he needed to answer 42 questions.
